Where Learning Takes Root.

Primary School at BGA

Primary is when children begin to become more independent in the way they learn, think and work.

At BGA, students build strong academic foundations while being encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas and take an increasingly active role in their own learning.

Small classes mean teachers can follow each student closely — supporting them when they need help and challenging them when they are ready for more.

Cambridge Primary

We follow the Cambridge Primary curriculum, providing students with a clear and structured academic foundation.

English, Mathematics and Science are at the core of the programme, alongside opportunities to develop creativity, communication, problem-solving and independent thinking.

Rather than simply learning the right answer, students are encouraged to understand why, explain their thinking and become increasingly confident working for themselves.

Green Thinking

As children grow, their relationship with nature develops too.

In Primary, students move from simply experiencing the natural world to asking questions about it, investigating how it works and beginning to understand their own responsibility towards it.

Environmental topics can become part of Science, project work and classroom discussion. Students observe, investigate, compare and form their own conclusions.

What begins as curiosity in Early Years gradually becomes understanding and responsibility.

Cambridge Learning,
the BGA Way

The Cambridge curriculum gives us the academic framework. At BGA, we look for opportunities to connect that learning with practical experience.

A Science lesson might continue outdoors. A question about the environment might become a project. Students might observe something first-hand before returning to the classroom to discuss, research or test their ideas.

Cambridge gives us the framework. BGA brings it to life.
